£16,000 - £20,000 (depending on experience)

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team at Xune. Primary duties include creating reliable and high-performing web applications and services for our growing portfolio of clients. Focusing both on the underlying software and databases (known as the ‘back end’) and the web based interactive interface (known as the ‘front-end’) – your knowledge will be well rounded enough to act as our full stack web developer.

To be successful in this role, you should have strong technical knowledge and laser sharp problem solving skills. You should be comfortable working within a team and on any given task you would be working within (and may be the senior person) a small team of web developers/designers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing front end website architecture.
  • Designing user interactions on web pages.
  • Developing back end infrastructure for website applications.
  • Database creation and management.
  • Ensuring cross-platform optimisation for mobile phones.
  • Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
  • Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
  • Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
  • Designing and developing APIs.
  • Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
  • Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.


  • Relevant degree subject (desired) including: computer science, informatics, software engineering, web design & development
  • IT qualification (preferable)
  • 5 GCSE’s (grades 4/C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English


  • At least 3 years of experience is preferred


  • HTML, CSS, Javascript.
  • Experience with such coding languages like Python, PHP, Java
  • Experience working with PHP framework (Laravel preferred)
  • Experience with back-end technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, RESTful Api, .NET.
  • Version control GitHub
  • Experience with any of the following front-end technologies: React (preferred), Angular, Vue.
  • Being a quick-learner 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Progressive App Development, and work with Shopify Backend and Shopify app creation with React (desirable not essential)

What to Expect from This Position

  • Working hours – 10am – 6pm with a half an hour unpaid lunch break
  • Informal dress code although smart attire is required on occasion
