Our Weekly Workload
This week began with a lengthy Monday morning meeting as the team organised their tasks for the week. Our Monday morning meetings are a chance for the team and the directors, Misha and Anna, to discuss and locate all of their priorities and current task statuses, as well as communicating any challenges, achievements and questions to colleagues across departments. With many staff working from home during the week, these meetings are essential and proving more valuable than ever.
Currently, our Web Developer, Robert, is busy creating prototype pages and planning the build of an app, for one of our clients. App development is a rising client service, in which our Web Development team and agency directors both highly enjoy and encourage, to optimise our client’s companies. Our team always recommends the best, and aim to keep up to date with technological developments to advantage our clients as best possible.
Across the office, Xune’s Web Design & Developer, Jacob, is working on one client’s website by running speed tests. These tests are crucial, as website speed is a significant factor in Google’s algorithm, and fast-loading websites can expect to attract significantly more visitors.
Spencer and Maggie, our Digital Marketers, are spending this week prioritising email marketing by creating three email automation’s for one of our clients. After that, both are busy creating website content and localised landing pages: their days are never slow!
Junior Digital Marketer, Elliot, is busy this week working on a downloadable, an asset which our agency believes to be essential to any business’s digital marketing plan. Elliot prides himself on hard work, and always ensures that any task is completed with excellence and faultlessness: a quality the team admire and aspire to follow.
Work Hard, Play Hard
Whilst the team keep busy, efforts do not go unrecognised as directors Misha and Anna organise the staff Christmas party! This week all staff pulled a name from a bowl for the much-loved Secret Santa, and Mihlali, our Business Administrator by day and party animal by night, takes the Christmas playlist very seriously with preparations already underway.
Despite the Covid-19 restrictions, the team is dedicated to keeping positive, remaining hopeful and staying focussed. As perfectly described by Ada Adams: “There is a light at the end of every tunnel”.
